Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in Hisui, home to many powerful and unique Pokémon. There are many new evolution methods and some that remain the same. One of these is the ghost and poison-type Pokémon Haunter and its evolution method into Gengar.
How to get Gengar in Pokémon Legends: Arceus
To evolve Haunter in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, you can do it one of two ways. The first is the classic method of trading your Haunter to a friend and then having them trade it back. The second is to use a new item called the Linking Cord. Use this item like an evolution stone on your Haunter, and it will evolve into Gengar.

Gengar is a fantastic Pokémon, boasting great speed and special attack as well as a good spread of moves. If you don't have anyone who can trade your Haunter, you can purchase Linking Cords at the Trading Post in Jubilife Village. It will cost you 1,000 Merit Points which you can get by finding Lost Satchels.
