Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West are map-revealing machines. To climb them, players will have to complete puzzles and objectives and then override the machine from its head platform. Doing this will unlock visibility for a large section of the map. Completing Tallnecks is very useful, especially in the early game though some of them are locked until certain quests are completed, or tools are obtained.
The 'Stand of the Sentinels' Tallneck is similar to other Tallnecks in Horizon Forbidden West. Players will have to solve exploration and traversal puzzles to make their way to the top of the Tallneck and override it. Players will need to complete the main story mission where players first meet Alva before attempting this Tallneck as it will be locked before this.
This Tallneck will require players to find their way through a tree-house village, making their way higher and higher until they are able to reach the top of the Tallneck. Finding the correct places to jump can be difficult here, but the Tallneck can be completed by following the steps below:
Where do you enter the tree village?
You can most easily enter the tree village from the center of the Tallneck's walking circle. The location is shown in the images above.

The final platform that players will need to reach is shown above. From here, players should be high enough to reach the Tallneck's head and override the machine.
