We're taking a look at how to Split Screen in Fortnite on Xbox or PS4! This is a new feature that was recently added to the game, and can allow you to play some couch coop with a friend who is in real life with you! Epic is still working out the kinks in this system, so expect some updates with some additional features to come in the near future. This is currently only available on Xbox and PlayStation, we don't know if it will be available for PC or Nintendo Switch.
You will need a second controller to make this work, so make sure your friend brings one or you have one for your system. You will also need to have an additional profile on your system for them to choose so they will appear as a different player in the game. That profile doesn't necessarily need to have an Epic Games account, but if your friend wanted to access their specific controller settings they will either need to login or enter them all in.
