Final Fantasy XIV Job Boosts, Explained

Final Fantasy XIV is an expansive MMO. With 90 levels for each of the game's jobs, it can be quite a time-consuming process to reach max level on just a single class, and those who want to max out multiple jobs are sure to have their work cut out for them. Square Enix offers players a system to skip ahead in levels, but these boosters don't come cheap.

Job Boosts allow players to immediately level up the job of their choice in Final Fantasy XIV. These items, known as Tales of Adventure III, can be purchased via the Final Fantasy XIV Online Store and raise the respective class to level 80.

Each Tales of Adventure III item costs $25, and with 17 boosters currently for sale on the Final Fantasy XIV Online store, it would cost players $425 to raise all of their classes to level 80 using this method, meaning all Job types will be ten levels off from the level 90 cap.

Instead of purchasing an excessive amount of Job Boosts, we recommend picking a primary job and playing through the main scenario quests. There is more than enough experience to reach max level with one class by completing the game.

If you're aiming to boost the level of a secondary class, we recommend following our leveling guide to make headway on your journey to the max level in Final Fantasy XIV.
