Farming for Gorou | Genshin Impact

Gorou is a four-star Geo bow user whose kit is built to support his fellow Geo Vision holders. Farming for character materials in-game can be a time-consuming process, so gathering items for leveling up, Ascending, and strengthening your future Gorou in advance means that you can start playing him as soon as he arrives from your Wishes.

Level-Up Materials

Hero's Wits are some of the hardest materials to farm in-game, so keep a stockpile ready for Gorou! You can obtain these level-up essentials by chance from quests and Chests, and you can farm them from Blossoms of Revelation at a cost of x20 Original Resin or x1 Condensed Resin (for double rewards).

The number of Hero's Wit you need to raise Gorou:

• Level 90—approximately x420 Hero's Wit
• Level 70—approximately x170 Hero's Wit

As Gorou is a Support character, he's viable even at lower levels. So if you're budgeting your Resin across multiple characters to raise, it won't hurt your team to keep Gorou at level 70 until you have excess materials to spare.

Mora

It costs approximately 7.1 million Mora to raise Gorou to the fullest, which includes crowning his three Talents. However, most players can expect to spend approximately 3.5 million Mora to get Gorou up to level 80 with talents at level 8.

Some viable ways to farm for Mora include:

All Normal Bosses that drop Perpetual Hearts and Prithiva Topaz stones cost x40 Original Resin per round, so don't craft Condensed Resins when you need to farm these materials.

The higher your Talent levels, the better Gorou's Skills will perform. The golden rule is to get Talents up to at least level 8, which unlocks at Ascension Phase 4, for characters that you actively deploy.

For Gorou's Talents, forego leveling up his Normal Attack past level 6 as he most likely won't be deployed to deal Damage often. Instead, focus on his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst at the same priority.
